Hello and welcome back!
Today I am in a pretty good mood. I am calming down about returning to the office. I have decided to focus more on planning what the heck I will do when I go back to continue losing weight. At the same time, I will review something I ordered back in May that helped me with my 8-pound loss. I ordered a Smart //ws-na.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/q?ServiceVersion=20070822&OneJS=1&Operation=GetAdHtml&MarketPlace=US&source=ss&ref=as_ss_li_til&ad_type=product_link&tracking_id=lammons36-20&language=en_US&marketplace=amazon®ion=US&placement=B08XZ5CKQW&asins=B08XZ5CKQW&linkId=ecbf450288e930683f5215b6ca331c91&show_border=true&link_opens_in_new_window=true“>Hula hoop from Amazon after seeing it on TIK TOK.
For days a video would pop up saying, “If you see this, it’s a sign to buy the smart weighted hula hoop.” Now I will admit I was skeptical about this whole thing, but more and more, the videos started to show people who looked like me getting results. Finally, I was sold, but first, let me research.
To justify this purchase, I had to make sure that it works and for my research, I searched multiple blogs and sites and did not see what I was looking for, so I went to my tried and true site for information: YouTube.
I watched so many videos of men, women young and older, describing their experience with the weighted hula hoop. I watched everything from does it work, before and after results, and follow-up videos. After all that, I ordered the hoop on May 1st and used it straight out of the box.
My Hoop
My hoop was delivered quickly. It has a total of 24 sections and as you lose inches you remove a section. I was worried that it would not fit, even with all sections attached I had a bit of difficulty securing the close because I could not see past my chest AND I could not see the latch with my belly in the way. After an exhausting struggle of sucking it all in, I was able to close the hoop well enough for the track roller to smoothly move around the hoop. I slid the smart hoop down just above my belly and exhaled.
I don’t know exactly what happened, but I felt that it was trying to split me in half because I exhaled. I read the instructions that came with the hoop, and basically, I have to engage my abs while using to get the best results. I would have to engage my abs to get it on and keep it on, but I figured it out quickly.
Now, in the beginning, I did not follow the instructions of 30 minutes a day, so I did not have the magical results of removing a link in less than a week. I did it for 10 minutes whenever I could. It wasn’t until I looked at additional YouTube videos that I realized I was wasting time if I wasn’t going to do it right. So I made a plan to hoop 30 minutes a day, 15 minutes in each direction while watching Markiplier or Jacksepticeye Resident Evil 8 playthrough videos.
I would hula hoop for 30 minutes, write down where I stopped, and pick up where I left off until they finished. At the end of May, I was still using 24 links, breaking a nice sweat, but it became easier to put on.
Pros:
It was easy to use and works if you work it. If you engage your abs and lift your arms above your head you really feel it.
Cons:
LOUD. I had to watch my videos with the volume on 100% in order to hear Markiplier over the clicking. It can get boring if you don’t have something to keep you entertained.
I will continue to use this. I do believe that it is working. I hope to remove a link by the end of this month, but fingers crossed. I am considering taking this to work with me and hula hooping in the parking lot on my breaks. Yeah, that might work.
I did not have my measurements in May, but I have listed them below.
Starting measurement
Waist – 5/29 42.1 inches
Two more weeks lets see some results 🙂
Have you ordered the Famous TIK TOK Smart Hula hoop? Let me know in the comments your experience and how long did it take you to remove a link.
Until next time
Happy Hula Hooping
AnissaMarie.
