TikTok trends are on the rise and one trend taking over the Internet is Nature’s Cereal. This unblended smoothie of goodness hit high popularity after being featured on the singer Lizzo TikTok.

Like myself, Lizzo is on a journey to be the healthiest she can be, and I can relate to everything she has posted, from her struggles down to her food triggers. If she was promoting Nature’s Cereal as a way to eat healthily, it must be good.

But, what it is Nature’s Cereal?

This cereal consists of various berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries), Pomegranate seeds, coconut water, and ice… I don’t know what the ice is for, crunch, maybe?

This combination of fruit, ice and coconut water aids in digestion and allegedly a boost of energy. Considering berries especially blueberries are a super fruit you can’t go wrong with eating a bunch of dark, sweet, ripe berries. Pomegranates make this cereal also high in antioxidants and coconut water provides a boost in electrolytes and potassium…groovy.

What does it taste like?

I am a fan of all the berries. I have no problem eating them, some of them together and some of them separate. I don’t think I have had them all lumped together in a bowl. I am not a fan of coconut water. I don’t like the smell, taste, or color…just not a fan. I do like pomegranate and I discovered that they come in little ready to eat cups. That was a bonus.

There are no measurements to this recipe, you just pour to your desire and eat. I used a 1/2 cup of all the fruit and filled the bowl with coconut water until it covered the fruit. No ice cubes, I just didn’t get the ice cubes. Everything in my fridge is ice cold. Too cold.

My Nature’s Cereal (Before coconut water)

It tasted…ok. It was sweet and tart and tasted like fruit. I was today year’s old when I found out you could eat the seeds of the pomegranate. The one thing that did surprise me is that I didn’t taste the coconut water like I thought I would. That was a plus, and I even finished the water that was in the bowl. I decided to try this for a week see to see if I felt any different. After a week, I didn’t feel this amazing rush of energy like so many people experience, but I can definitely confirm after eating this, it did aid in digestion.

I am not sure if I will continue to eat Nature’s Cereal, I may blend it up as a smoothie and sip it down, but it wasn’t bad. I wish I got the energy that I read so much about.

Until Next Time

Hi, I’m T—a storyteller, a widow, and someone who believes that healing and hope can be found in the pages of a good book. Writing has always been my way of making sense of the world, but after a few detours (including brain surgery, double shifts, and life showing me its toughest side), I’ve come back to the page with more fire than ever. Widow Tales is my debut, born from late-night scribbles and quiet moments where grief met imagination. It’s a love letter to second chances, resilience, and the kind of romance that makes you laugh, cry, and maybe blush a little too. When I’m not writing, you can usually find me with a good playlist, a journal close by, and probably talking to my husky and cats like they're my manager or my editors. This space is where I’ll share pieces of my journey...writing, life, and everything in between. Pull up a chair, you’re welcome here.
