Hello again! Now I mentioned in my last post I would also be incorporating indoor cycling into my starter workout plan, but I did not mention any details of the bike. Now, I know there is a Peloton craze going on, everyone from celebrities to YouTubers swears by the Peloton bike, but I am a girl on a tight budget and cannot even begin to convince myself to buy a $2,000. What I did do was research reasonable bikes on Walmart and Amazon that met the price point, but was also able to be the Peloton hack I needed it to be. After hours of research, I decided to buy the Wonder Maxi Folding Magnetic Exercise Bike
Now, this lightweight bike is a major space saver. It supports up to 265lbs and it has a nifty shelf to hold your cell phone or tablet for that Peloton feel. It comes with an extra-wide seat that is adjustable and a firm cushion. I do love this bike its not bulky and I was able to put it together while on a facetime call with my mother and sister. When I am done I fold it up and place it in the closet out of the way. A couple of things I do while on the bike is log onto YouTube, click on my preferred cycling class, and start my training.
Sometimes riding inside can get a little boring and you might need a little change of scenery. Youtube offers 360degree cycling rides that take you all over the world from San Francisco to China.
